Our fairness promise

Intelligence you can trust.

A computer should only run a car park if it is fairer than a person would be. Ours is built to be. These are the rules it follows on every site, every day.

The promise

  1. Clear signs, and time to read them.

Signage meets the code of practice, and a consideration period of ten minutes applies before any rule does.

  2. At least ten minutes' grace at the end of every stay.

Built into the rules engine. It cannot be switched off per site.

  3. Every charge backed by evidence you can see.

Photographs and timestamps, kept with your reference, before you decide whether to pay or appeal.

  4. Genuine mistakes cancelled.

A mistyped registration, a resident who forgot to register, a customer who was clearly using the site. Tell us and it's cancelled.

  5. Common sense for people who need it.

Vulnerable motorists, carers, blue badge holders and emergencies are handled by a person, not a rule.

  6. A human reviews every appeal.

Trained, empowered to cancel, and replying in plain English within 14 days. If you disagree with the outcome, we'll tell you how to escalate independently.

Why we bother.

Because the industry has been run badly for too long and the operators who last will be the accurate, transparent and fair ones. Also because a system that sees everything doesn't need to guess, and doesn't need to be aggressive. Fairness isn't a cost of doing this properly. It's the proof that we do.

Your options and the timeline are on one page, in plain words.

For landowners: this promise is written into every landowner agreement. It protects your reputation as much as ours.
