Find my notice

We can't look up notices online yet. Your notice has everything you need: the amount, the dates and how to appeal. Or a person will help: appeals@wearemotionbay.co.uk.

What happens, and when.

Every date counts from the day on your notice.

  1. Day 0

    Your notice is issued.

The evidence (photographs and times) is kept with your reference.

  2. Within 14 days

    Pay the reduced amount.

Pay within 14 days of the notice and you pay the reduced amount shown on it.

  3. Within 28 days

    Appeal to us.

You have 28 days from the notice to appeal. Appealing pauses the payment clock.

  4. If we reject your appeal

You can take it further, independently.

You can escalate to the Independent Appeals Service (IAS). We'll give you the details and the reference you need in our reply. You can still pay the reduced amount for 14 days from our reply.

  5. If we accept your appeal

    The charge is cancelled.

You'll receive written confirmation. There is nothing to pay.

Genuine mistakes get cancelled.

A mistyped registration. A resident who forgot to register. A customer who was clearly using the site. A blue badge holder. An emergency. Tell us, and a person will look.
